Intelligent product solutions since 1949
wolfcraft GmbH manufactures and supplies tools and power tool accessories, and is considered to be one of the founders and key driving forces of the German DIY sector. Our business was founded in 1949 by Robert Wolff and is now run by the second generation of the family. The management is made up of Managing Partner Reinhard Wolff as well as Holger Placke, Bernd Weber and Stefan Weigel, all long-serving employees in the various business units. The transition to the third generation of the family business started a few years ago. The company is based in Kempenich. wolfcraft primarily produces its products at its own factories in Germany and in Malé Dvorniky (Slovakia).
With an export share of 66%, wolfcraft is an internationally active company with its own sales force in many European countries as well as a great many trade and distribution partners worldwide. We have over 700 employees worldwide and are represented in 50 countries.
Based on over 70 years of experience and consistent market and user research, we translate project-specific problems and challenges into intelligent product solutions. We currently offer around 3,000 products under the wolfcraft brand. More than 550 of our developments are protected by patents.
The high degree of innovation of our products has already been honoured with numerous awards, including the Red Dot Design Award for our popular one-hand clamp. For the Vinyl and Laminate Cutter VLC 800, wolfcraft received the prestigious PLUS X Award.

For its holistic and consistent brand and communication strategy, wolfcraft was named "Winner" of the "Gardening & Tools" category in the "Industry Excellence in Branding" section of the German Brand Award 2017.

The most important criterion for our success is a fundamental understanding of the needs, tasks and expectations of the users. Depending on the level of knowledge and complexity, users are faced with specific challenges when dealing with projects. It is our core competence to analyse these difficulties that arise during a project and to create solutions.
For this, we focus intensively on the target group and their problems, and develop solutions. We take inspiration from proven processes and methods, but never allow ourselves to be limited by them.
