Product description

The replacement filter with protection rating ABEK can be used in the half-mask respirator (art. no. 4850000) from wolfcraft and complies with EN 14387:2004 + A1:2008. The protection rating ABEK guarantees respiratory protection against anorganic gases and fumes as well as acid gas emissions, ammonia and organic ammonia derivatives as can occur for example when working with hydrogen chloride, chlorine, insulation panels, insulation mats, solvent-based paints, phosgene, muriatic acid, sulphur dioxide, nitrous gases, nitrogen oxide and paint strippers.

Explanation of technical terms, standards ABEK filters protect against organic and inorganic gas and vapour as well as acid gas, ammonia and organic ammonia derivatives. The maximum admissible pollutant concentration is 30 times the MAK value. 
The MAK value (German abbreviation for maximum workplace concentration) is the maximum permitted concentration of a substance in the (breathing) air at the workplace in the form of gas, vapour or suspended particles, which is not considered hazardous to the health, even if one is usually exposed to such concentration 8 hours a day and a maximum of 40 hours a week. 

Instructions

ABEK filters protect against organic and inorganic gas and vapour as well as acid gas, ammonia and organic ammonia derivatives. The maximum admissible pollutant concentration is 30 times the MAK value.
