Product description

The filter class FFP2 dust mask from wolfcraft complies with the PPE Regulation (EU) 2016/425. It protects the respiratory tract from harmful dust, smoke and aerosols, e.g. from wood, paint, varnish, steel, antimony, ash, barium, concrete, emulsion paint, diesel soot, fluoride, coal dust, copper, solvent-free paints, ozone, fungal and mould spores, titanium, vanadium, cement, pesticides, structural steel, zinc, solder, softwood, rust protection, as well as when working with glass/mineral fibres. The protection class is designed for filtering 94 percent of the particles up to a size of 0.6 μm and allows safe use at workplaces with up to 10 times the occupational exposure limit value (OEL). The mask is equipped with an additional breathing valve that significantly eases breathing in comparison to masks without valve. The mask is equipped with an additional breathing valve that significantly eases breathing in comparison to masks without valve. The soft filter fabric is pleasant to wear and ensures a good seal along the contours of your face. The nose strip can be shaped; this means that you can adapt it individually to achieve a tight yet comfortable fit. The fine dust mask fulfils the special requirements of the dust clogging test. As a disposable product, it can be used for one work shift. Its safety is guaranteed by quality control in acc. with the EN 149:2001 + A1:2009 standard.

explanation technical terms, standards FFP2 masks afford protection against solid and liquid particles that are damaging to the health. The maximum admissible pollutant concentration is 10 times the MAK value. The maximum admissible pollutant concentration is 10 times the MAK value.
The MAK value (German abbreviation for maximum workplace concentration) is the maximum permitted concentration of a substance in the (breathing) air at the workplace in the form of gas, vapour or suspended particles, which is not considered hazardous to the health, even if one is usually exposed to such concentration 8 hours a day and a maximum of 40 hours a week.
