The marking and alignment template was developed specifically for fast, error-free installation of electrical installation boxes and the associated inserts in drywall. It can optionally also be used for installations in brick walls. The template has a side with a dimension of 71 mm and the corresponding markings. This makes it possible to copy the correct distances between two installation boxes, for both first installations and expansions of the electrical installation. There is also a side with the 91 mm distance needed for sockets and TV/network sockets. With the level, the template can reliably be aligned for accurately marking the drilling position. And later, when the installation boxes and inserts have to be aligned, the template helps you to accurately position them. The clever helper features two hole mounts that make it easier to control the alignment and fasten the hollow wall box in the drilled hole. Here you can insert the screw heads of the hollow wall boxes and thus create a temporary connection – align, fasten screws, and you're done. After the hollow wall box has been fastened, the insertable metal stop comes into play. In combination with the magnetic rear of the template, you can effortlessly align metallic sockets and switch inserts and subsequently fasten them with screws. The template also provides solutions for the country-specific differences in the standard socket insert design.
