With this project set, you are choosing two high-quality product solutions for laying laminate or vinyl flooring. It contains the VLC 800 vinyl and laminate cutter and 30 multifunctional 2-in-1 wedges. The VLC 800 vinyl and laminate cutter is a versatile and powerful tool for all tradespeople and DIYers who undertake extensive laminate and vinyl laying jobs. This all-rounder not only cuts all commercially available laminate boards up to 11 mm thick and 465 mm wide, but also the popular floor boards made from durable vinyl. It is suitable for all commercially available vinyl and design flooring with a thickness from 2 mm to a maximum of 11 mm. The VLC 800 easily cuts through boards made from 100% vinyl or those with an HDF base layer with footfall sound insulation. To cut thin vinyl material of 2 to 5 mm, simply narrow the cutting gap using the adjustable cutting bars. Even self-adhesive vinyl can be processed with ease thanks to the specially coated blade. With minimal noise and dust and no need for power. The high-quality, laser-cut, smooth blade not only makes cutting laminate safer, but also guarantees you a precise, clean cutting edge. This is primarily due to the blade geometry that sets the angle between the blade and cutting gap to the most efficient ratio. The VLC 800 also features a holding down clamp on the cutting lever that presses the board securely against the integrated serrated cutter bars and prevents the board slipping or jamming on the blade. This is very helpful, especially with free angular cuts from 0° to 180° without a stop or with continuous longitudinal cuts. The 30 universal wedges can be pushed together in 2 directions. This means you can combine these clever little helpers into either a flat spacing guide, or if both points are facing in the same direction, into a larger wedge. Thanks to the latching mechanism, you can determine the thickness of the spacing guide precisely and preset several wedges to the same dimension. Once inserted and adjusted, the wedges stay in position reliably and retain their thickness, so that you are saved the hassle of frequent re-adjustment. Ideal when laying parquet or laminate, but also when squaring windows and doors and for many other projects. |
